Pearce's Birthday

So just pretend it's May 14th and not June 8th, so I'm actually on time with these birthday pictures.

We did a Curious Pearce birthday party. You know, like Curious George. Bc pearce is very very very curious and also bc he loves bananas. My bff Jackie is starting a party planning business and she offered her expertise on decoration and theme. She went above and beyond if I do say so myself. We had banana related foods galore. Banana daiquiris (non alcoholic for the kids, don't worry folks), banana pudding, and bananas dipped in chocolate. I'll put a few food pictures on here bc it was so good and cute.





And the mantle was decorated with some fun cut outs and pictures of curious George and Pearce framed.


And then there was lots of playing. He slid on his new slide from Mimi and Papa, and rode on his new car from Aunt Staci and Uncle Tanner and Aunt Denise and Uncle Mark, and he carried around his balloons the entire party. Weirdly obsessed with balloons... I dont know. He carried them around the house for the entire week.






I'd say, if Pearce could remember his first birthday he would agree it was probably the best birthday he'll ever have. Good thing I have this blog to prove it to him later.
